A multimillion-dollar development off Interstate 385 in Mauldin has secured one tenant and could potentially have another as the project continues to take shape.
A Greenville company announced it would be relocating to BridgeWay Station, and the Mauldin City Council gave initial approval Thursday night to a change that would allow for a research and development facility to be built on part of the site.
The new tenant will be Jackson Marketing, Motorsports & Events, a company that specializes in branding, marketing, consulting, special events and other services, with a presence on both coasts. The Greenville office is currently located off Smith Hines Road, and the move to BridgeWay will allow the company to consolidate its local operations and expand, according to a statement.
“Jackson’s move to BridgeWay Station is a huge first step in our vision for the new development,” said Ryan Peiffer, vice president of Hughes Investments, which is developing BridgeWay Station. “Jackson’s energy and creativity are right in line with our vision of creating a walkable, vibrant community much like what you see in downtown Greenville.”
