Held every March, this 5K race raises money for the national CJ Foundation for SIDS, which works to support research and treatment options to combat Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. Organized by Matthew and Jodi Ware, whose daughter Emily "Peacock" Ware passed away suddenly before the age of 1, this race has raised over $150,000 since it began in 2009. The race begins and ends at the Mauldin Cultural Center. The City of Mauldin's Recreation Department plays a large role in assisting the Wares with this wonderful event and more information can be found on their webpage.

For over two decades, the unforgettable caricature of veteran comedian James Gregory has stood grinning: his shirt un-tucked, his arms outstretched, a carefree welcome to a down-home, hilarious comedy experience. It's storytelling at its best. Join us at the Mauldin Cultural Center as we host James Gregory, the Funniest Man in America!
