Budget & CAFR
The City of Mauldin operates on a $16.8 million budget. The Finance Department is comprised of a Finance Director, two Senior Accountants and Accounts Payable. Each year, The City of Mauldin produces a Comprehensive Annual Financial Report or CAFR. This is a prestigious financial procedure that municipalities elect to participate in for the purpose of improving their budget and budget procedures. Also, this document serves to illuminate to our citizens and the public the state of our finances. We have previously been awarded the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for our CAFR by the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and we expect to continue to receive this award.
